Chino Valley Arizona
The city of Chino Valley has numerous offerings. A progressive community that upholds a rural environment offers wonderful sunsets and four mild seasons throughout the year along with over 300 days of sunshine. There are multiple homes in Chino Valley ranging from 6,000 sq. ft. lots to five-acre parcels. The Health Department allows farm animals as long as they meet certain standards.
Living is affordable in community facilities that are comprised of well-maintained parks ball fields, free tennis courts, a senior center, a community center and an Aquatic Center.
Chino Valley History
Arizona’s first territorial capital was Chino Valley before it was moved to Prescott. Due to this, the area has always garnered great interest. “Chino” is the Mexican name for abundant curly grama grass that is found in the region. Chino Valley incorporated in 1970, which led to an expansive growth era. Now affordable lands are available as well as services and attractions. The quiet area of Chino Valley is comprised of over 12,000 residents.
Memory Park
Memory Park provides 2.4 acres with various trees offering shade, Memory Park is a wonderful place for various outings due to the ramada and restrooms along with bbq’s, bocce, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground and Veteran’s Memorial.
Community Center Park
The signature venue of the Community Center Park is now transforming to offer passive and active recreational activities. The Community Center Park boasts a skate park, an Aquatic center as well as lit fields for leagues and tournaments.
Quail Ridge Park
The town of Chino owns and maintains the Quail Ridge Park in Yavapai County. Since 2005, Quail Ridge Park provides restrooms, a play ground bbq’s and rentable ramada.
Center Street Park
A new park, Center Street Park located in the town of Chino Valley has begun to maintain 3 acres located at the Center Street corner of Road 1 West and is expected to be completed in the very near future.
